WHITE STONE MINISTRIES operates a Christ-centered home for orphaned, abandoned and abused children in Acuna, Mexico. The children live in a wonderful home that is not a “child warehouse” but a real home. Here, most experience what it means to have a loving family for the first time. The children have a deep sense of safety, security and stability here... they love living in this home!

Our children’s home, EL CORAZON DE REY, is licensed by the department of the Mexican government that oversees all residential facilities. We have great favor with them…in fact…for the last 5 years, they have labeled our Home “The Best Children’s Home in the State” (the State of Coahuila). We have spent many thousands of dollars to comply with the Mexican laws so that we could receive our license.

For children to receive the deep spiritual and emotional healing they crave, permanency is an important factor. The children that live with us have not known what it is really like, to live in a loving, stable home until now.

All that is now in jeopardy.

We have recently been told that the landlord will not renew our lease at the end of our present term. She wants to sell the home…immediately.

She has offered to sell it to us at a price that is well below the appraised value and she is also willing to carry the mortgage at an acceptable rate of interest IF we can give her a down payment of $50,000. She already has a qualified buyer but she knows the hardship that moving will inflict upon the children and staff, so she is willing to give us until the end of September to raise the down payment.

If we do not purchase the home soon, we will have to move. It will be devastating for the children…so we must raise the $50,000 down payment as soon as possible.
