Since 1999 Tramayne has been incarcerated for a crime that prosecutors and the judge know to be false. Leading the judge to state and I quote, " We got this one wrong." He has been sentenced to LIFE WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY of PAROLE. Our loved one was working, going to school and providing for his 6month old daughter when he was implicated in a crime he had no involvement or knowledge of by the actual perpetrator. Allowing that person to stay free and murder an eye witness willing to testify to the truth, that TJ had nothing to do with the crime. For 17 years he has battled through depression and heartache to have his appellate rights reinstated after losing them due to an attorney our family spent thousands of dollars on failed to do any work in a timely manner. He has worked hard for nearly 2 decades to prove his innocence, not by legal tricks but by showing the FACTS. During a hearing in his 13th year he forced the actual killer to take the stand. He nearly confessed before the judge but later refused. Leaving us more aghast. The judge then, after seeing the guilty person and hearing all the facts, made the above comment and vacated his sentence. This was upheld by the PA Superior Court and more recently the Pa State Supreme Court. The prosecution, however, does not want to lose a conviction on their success board . Rather than set an innocent man free they want to retry him. The evidence is in his favor and thou he has been beaten down by this fight for his life he, along with us, continue to fight for his freedom, for his justice. We ask anyone who can help monetarily, in any amount, to please help secure an attorney who will fight for his freedom, for true justice so he can come home to his daughter who needs him.
