Dear Family and Friends,
For all of you who do not know by now, my father Gary Schoolcraft was playing hockey on the 28th of April, forty-five minutes into the game he had a massive coronary and died. After about seven or eight minutes he returned from “the brink of death”. With thanks and gratitude to a few of the guys he skates with (I know it sounds a little dramatic, but true). He spent a week and a half recovering from a bout with septicemia; he had contracted three different types of staph. This infection delayed his eventual bypass surgery, but on the 12th of May he did indeed receive triple bypass and is recovering as we speak. The problem is my brothers and I can only do so much, for those of you that do not know the recovery for this surgery is quite lengthy. He cannot drive for at least two or three months and is unable to work for four to six months. My Dad has medical bills which are growing, rent, food and utilities. And because he is unable to work he has to replace lost wages also. My Dad needs your help, my brothers and I are appealing to all of you for any assistance you can afford us.
Thank you,
Becky
