If you know Peri, than you know that the thing that makes her the happiest in the world-besides her husband Hector and their 2 dogs- is spreading love through food. She genuinely loves to feed you and that love has driven her to start a catering company that provides food for weddings and get togethers of all sorts on our beautiful island. A couple months ago Peri started to fall ill. she started loosing weight rapidly and not being able to keep food down. After countless doctor visits and rapidly declining health she is still without answers to what is causing her illness. On top of all this Peri can not work so the bills keep pilling up. She is a proud woman and would never ask for help but right now she desperately needs it. Peri is the type of person that would give you the shirt off her back and has been a giving part of this community for many, many years. Please help her in her time of need. Any donations are GREATLY appreciated.

Latest Update

*UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE* Hi all our Love connection family! At 6 pm this evening Peri was wheeled into recovery. It's 7:30pm she's still asleep. The surgeon met with us. He said the following, Good news. Her procedure was successful the mass was removed with all surrounding effected tissue. In addition he explained that some months ago there was evidence of a bowel perferation yet her small intestine adhered to that area. Essentially plugging the perforation. Can we say Miracle! Her recovery will take some time and there will be additional treatments to make sure our amazing Peri has a long and healthy life. We, thank all the prayers and all the love that's been extended to her these past 10 days. I don't know what we would have done without your support. Thank you thank you thank you

Peri has undergone an endoscopy and they attempted to do a colonoscopy and encountered a blockage which prevented them to complete the procedure. They took biopsies of the area surrounding the abscesses and the thickening walls of the area of restriction. It will be Three days until the biopsies are returned. And the abscesses are small and no longer the main concern. But at this point the surgeon based off of what was found has decided that the best course of action was to remove the mass. She goes in for surgery on Thursday. More updates as we receive them.
