Howard's New Liver
Howard has made it on the transplant list! The transplant costs $700,000 and the Anti-Rejection drugs will start at $9000 a month with adjustments but for the rest of his life. The insurance co-pays are daunting and I am asking for your help. I do not ask lightly but with a heavy and grateful heart. God is taking care of us in all ways. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting us on your prayer lists and for any help you can give.

Hi everyone Thank you all for your prayers, we have news! We have been called back to Ochsner for testing. June 26 - July 2. Tests start at 8 am on the 27th. We have two doctors, lab work and a social worker to see, each with a co-pay. We have a appointments every day for the week. We have been told, depending on the tests results we may be kept there after the week and be put at the top of the transplant list. If you have been thinking about sending us help in the form of funds, I implore you to act. We have already incurred $1200 worth of medical bills in the last 3 months. Howard has been in the ER almost weekly because of weakness. He fell on the front steps on June 3rd and split his head open, staples come out on Monday. This is the last week before we go, much to do and we ask for your help. Please send money if you can and pray without ceasing, God is good!

We will be going to Oschner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA for testing! They are doing transplants there much sooner than they are doing them here in CA. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.
