Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by! Two of our beloved friends and family members, Lauren and Greg Martin, have made the challenging, yet awesome decision to travel down the road of surrogacy. Both desperately want children, however medically, it just isn't in the cards for them to do this the old fashioned route. As most of you know, Lauren underwent open heart surgery- not once, but TWICE!! For her to conceive and deliver a child would be extremely risky and possibly even fatal. Surrogacy is going to be the healthiest way for her to bring home a sweet baby of her own.
In order to make this happen, Lauren must undergo IVF fertility treatments to freeze her eggs, then have them transferred to a carrier once they have one. The costs involved for IVF + surrogacy and medical expenses will easily run them upwards of 50k!! I have set up this page to kindly ask you to consider helping by making a monetary donation. I know both Lauren and Greg have tons of family and friends that would love to help in any way they can, but neither of them would EVER ask for the help! So that's why I am! :) I know the end goal is high, but believe me, every little bit helps. I have known Lauren for what feels like my entire life (over 21 years). In this time, I have seen her through so many fun times, but also some of the most difficult times- heart surgery and the death of her sweet mom, Dee. She is the Godmother to my children and a wonderful aunt to her nieces and nephews. Greg is also just a genuinely fantastic person and an amazing uncle to his niece and nephews. I can't think of two more deserving people to bring home the wonderful miracle of a child. So, please, help anyway you can. Even if you can't make a donation, please share this to help spread the word!
