Jeffrey's Memorial will be held Sunday, December 6th at 3:30. His brother Max has requested that we have it at the Fallbrook United Methodist Church. More information to follow. Heidi has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations to the Celebration of Life Fund in Jeffrey's honor are welcome and appreciated.

Jeffrey passed away on Sunday morning in his home surrounded by his family. Jeffrey's Memorial will be held Sunday, December 6th at 3:30. His brother Max has requested that we have it at the Fallbrook United Methodist Church. More information to follow. Please, feel free to leave a message for Heidi and Jeffrey here. Now is the time for this. Heidi will read the messages herself and to Jeffrey, and they could use the infusion of love and kindness. In his time home this week, Jeffrey has enjoyed many visitors including his wonderful friends, his High School Rugby coach, family and Heidi's friends. The visit from his coach was a special highlight. On Heidi and Jeffrey's behalf, I would like to thank you for all of your support during the last many months which has aided in making this profoundly challenging journey a bit easier. Whether you donated to the Adventure Fund (which saw Jeffrey visit several museums, a couple of parks, go to the movies with friends and take a trip to the Griffith Observatory to watch the lunar eclipse) or visited in person, sent cards and gifts, left meals and goods, or you stopped by to leave a kind word here, prayed and just supported them in anyway, be assured they are beyond grateful for the love and support.

The Jeffrey Report 11/11/15 Hello All: It has been some time since you have had an update on our dear Jeffrey. Much has happened since last we updated you. So let's fill you in on the most recent events. Jeffrey is home. He was discharged from UCLA last week without receiving the next scheduled round of treatment as the doctors decided it was no longer an effective course of treatment for Jeffrey. Heidi is making sure Jeffrey is comfortable and wants for nothing. She is supported in this goal by Marcus and Max, family and friends, which includes your support here as well.

Jeff has an appointment at the City of Hope on Tuesday. Requesting prayers for the doctors to have wisdom and insight.

Everyone, sorry if you had problems with PayPal - they are very SECURE and locked my account today when I was transferring money to Jeff and Heidi at lunchtime, as they didn't recognize my server at work. It should be taken care of now.

Great news - CITY OF HOPE, one of the top cancer research centers in Southern California (and the United States) has agreed to review Jeffrey's case~!!!

Hello friends and supporters of Jeffrey (and Heidi). Paypal is linked again. Please note, since I am taking the pressure off of Heidi and Jeffrey and setting up this fundraiser, I am using our company business to collect the money and pay the Paypal administration fees. Your contribution to the adventure fund will show up on your statement as MADDENCONSTRUCTION. Chemo moved to Thursday- blood tests and insurance drama yesterday. Pray that things stay on schedule.

This week, Jeff met with a doctor who will introduce a chemotherapy regimen that shows promise to slow and even arrest tumor growth, and for this we are hopeful. He begins chemo this coming Wednesday.
