Started by: Hunter Young
Update: Due to many kind contributions, we have surpassed our original goal of being able to provide registration and equipment fees in local youth athletics for at least one child! We would love to continue our father's legacy by providing these opportunities to as many children as possible.
Miller Young was a dedicated father, grandfather and sports fan. We all have fond memories of watching one of Hunter, Sam or Nick's games with him, or cooking for a Maplewood event, or hanging out on his farm on Alta Vista. And know he wasn't much a flowers man... therefore, the family set up this account to raise money in his name to donate to one of the many youth sports in the Bethesda area.
We’ve linked two Washington Post articles below about which our dad would proudly state “I got some ink”. He certainly had a passion for food, entertainment and sports and having a great time along the way.

Finally, our father’s cremains will be interred in the Columbarium at Arlington National Cemetery at a date still to be determined, with some scattered at a few special locations as well.
