Anthony was diagnosed with ALS five years before Taya was born. And because of his disease, Anthony was unable to purchase life insurance for Taya's future. Anthony passed away this morning, finally succumbing to this horrible disease. Anthony was always selfless with his charitable needs. He was the inspiration behind the creation of the ALS Ice Bucket challenge which led to over 200 million dollars in donations to the ALS community. And amongst his many other charitable contributions, Anthony set up his own non-profit charitable foundation to benefit those inflicted with ALS. Through his foundation, Anthony donated tens of thousands of dollars to hospitals supporting ALS research and families stricken with ALS that could not afford their own care. We are now setting up this fund to honor Anthony, and to take care of the most important person in his life. The person that motivated him to get up every day and live well beyond any doctor's expectations. His daughter TAYA. Your support goes to an amazing little girl, and would mean the world to us. Thank you!
