This fundraising campaign is to raise finances to spend 5 weeks studying French in Quebec, Canada. My name is Bianca Edelhoff, and I am a senior French student at the University of Evansville. Part of my degree requirement is to study abroad in a French speaking region of the world. Not only is it a requirement, but it is an experience that will be extremely beneficial to my future as a French-speaking individual. My goals are to use French in a career where I am serving minority populations, as well as teaching French as a foreign language. I have applied to study abroad each year that I have been attending my University, but I have been unable to obtain the amount of funds necessary to go abroad. I have done some research to find cost-friendly study abroad options, and I have narrowed my selections to studying abroad with a French intensive language program in Quebec, Canada, through the renowned University of Quebec at Chicoutimi. I am looking forward to this experience, and also to encouraging others to study abroad once I am able to have this opportunity. Any financial assistance or advice in being able to embark on this journey will be sincerely appreciated and advantageous for me in obtaining my degree and becoming a fluent French-speaker. Thank you all,
Sincerely,
Bianca E. Edelhoff
