This year marks my mom and dad's fortieth wedding anniversary (Ruby if you were wondering).
To mark this momentous occasion correctly, we have set up this friend & family-funding account in a concerted and loving effort to send them to....Mexico! (Note: it was originally Hawaii, but as they booked a trip to Mexico last night, of all times, timed with my dad's surgery rehab being complete, it just makes more sense to contribute the gift towards this.
Understanding how times can be financially trying much of the time, we are simply asking for any contribution you can make to this effort. The process with this website should be relatively simple, however, I am happy to help in any way possible (CurtisTWright@hotmail.com).
In order to keep this process as simple and surprising as possible, I hope it works for everyone to send their contribution in the form of a credit card payment, cheque or an email transfer (contact me for more information). There is a gift certificate function with this website, so you can include that with your cheque if you like.
You can make the cheque out to Lynne and Bob, or myself if you like. I will compile and give them a combined cheque on their Anniversary date. Pay Pal accounts charge a fee on top of the 4.9% + .30 cents per transaction rate that Plumfund takes away from your gift.
Two more quick things. 1) Please forward this website URL on to anyone and everyone you think would like to contribute to their gift. The more the merrier - a perfect sentiment of both Lynne & Bob's inclusive family and great friends.
Lastly, I would like to compile a collection of video tributes to my folks. Short, sweet well-wishes. This can easily be done on an iPhone or nearly any device. As a fail safe, ask your children - they know these things. I will be creating a DropBox account for this purpose and people can upload their videos there. From this point, I'll compile them in some fashion.
