Help me take my mom and sister to Disneyland!

As a few of you know, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer this summer. She immediately had a mastectomy and started an aggressive round of chemotherapy in late August. As of last week, she finished this first round of chemo and will be starting a 12 week, less-aggressive round soon. Because she's supposed to start feeling better, I want to take her and Hannah (my 17-year-old sister who has been awesome helping our mom) on a little vacation. The last time my mom took a vacation was when we went to Disneyland when I was in 5th grade - almost 15 years ago. I think it's time she takes another one. I'd like to take them to Disneyland (again) and to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park sometime later this fall. I'd like to raise enough money to pay for park tickets and a little extra to go toward hotels/food/gas. Please help me give my mom and little sister this vacation from illness and stress!

Latest Update

Hi everyone! First of all, thank you so much for donating to my mom's trip! It would definitely not be possible without your help. As the doctors predicted, since my mom has started this new, less aggressive chemotherapy, she has been feeling so much better. With the first treatment, there were some really, really difficult days/weeks but it seems like that is behind her for now. And hearing about your contributions definitely helped her feel better at times. So thank you all so much!
