For the past three years, I have been blessed with the opportunity to go to Jeremie, Haiti to love and serve the children, teens, adults, families, and orphans of the village and surrounding cities. While in Haiti, our team's personal mission is to show God's love through our actions and simply love on the people around us. Many of these people do not have the love and attention that we take for granted everyday. The orphans long for a hug and someone to smile at them playing with side walk chalk; the village kids love for you to swing their jump rope and feed them sweet snacks that they've never tasted before. At the end of the week, for the past three years, there has not been dry faces on us Americans faces, or the sweet Haitians. So here I am, a poor college student, who definitely does not have the money to go back to Haiti...asking you to help me make a little bit more of a mark on this world.
