As we enter the 2015 season, Branduin has three goals: to help UC Berkeley take the national title in women’s collegiate competition; to gain more international tournament experience on both the collegiate team for the World University Games and the Senior US Archery Team; and to successfully pass the first round of trials for the 2016 Olympic Games.

UC Berkeley does not fund its archers' travel, tournament, or equipment expenses. While she has paid for her collegiate tournament expenses for Goal #1, she is going to need help your help to accomplish Goal #2, getting to the World University Games and competing to join the Senior USA Archery Team, and Goal #3, participating in her first every Olympic Trials.

Latest Update

Today, Branduin is flying to South Korea to compete in the World University Games! From their website: "It is second only to the Olympic Games in size. The Summer Universiade consists of 10 compulsory sports with 13 compulsory disciplines and up to 3 optional sports chosen by the host country. The record figures are 10,622 participants in Shenzhen, China, in 2011 and 174 countries in Daegu, Korea, in 2003." Sadly, it doesn't look like ESPN3 is covering archery (we have this same problem with the Olympics), but I'm hoping that some glimpses of the opening ceremonies and other things will show up on their youtube feed. Great job helping her get there, Support Team! http://www.wugusa.com/summer-games/
