Hannah’s Story:
Hannah is an incredible 35-year old wife and mother of 11-month old twins and a four year old daughter. In August and during a fairly routine medical procedure, she was diagnosed with colon cancer that has metastasized to her liver, lymph nodes and (one) lung.
Hannah is on an uphill journey. Her team of doctors (although the best in the world) are located 7 hours away at the Mayo clinic. Recently, due to a blockage caused by the tumor in her colon, she had to be transported 2 hours by ambulance to Duluth and then life-flighted to the Mayo clinic for emergency surgery. More scheduled surgeries are upcoming following her chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
As we all know, even the best of insurance doesn’t cover all the expenses incurred in a battle such as this – from gas and motels to child care to the actual medical bills.
So here we are, her friends and family: trying to raise money for this beautiful family and this amazing, loving, compassionate, full-of-life woman. Hannah deserves to live a full and abundant life, she loves others like we all should, she laughs more than anyone I know, and she sacrifices and works hard for her family and her friends who need her.
Of everyone in the world to be challenged with this horrible sickness, it’s almost inconceivable that it should be Hannah. But, it is.
And so we are asking, as her friends, for the people in OUR lives to bless her. You may not know her and you may never meet her, but you will forever have me thanking you if you can offer some financial support, no matter how small (it may seem to you). Please pray for her; pray for God's mercy to be poured over her life and her body . . . and please give abundantly.
Thank you all!
Love, Heather
