Brent and Charlie start a Family!
We're writing the name of everyone who gives a gift to our Baby Fund on the wall of our baby's nursery to reflect every bit of love that brought them into our family.
In place of gifts for our wedding, we have started a Baby Fund to raise money to start a family! Our goal on Plumfund is reflective of the average cost of Domestic Newborn adoptions (http://adoption.com/wiki/Adoption_Costs), but we by no means expect to raise this full amount. We are deeply grateful for any gift given, and view this not only as financial but as a gift of loving energy dedicated to the creation of our family.
Our hearts and arms are open to receiving a child in whichever way our child is intended to enter our lives. To be transparent, we aren't sure whether we will attempt adoption or surrogacy but regardless, we know it will cost a substantial amount of money- another reason we're having a very casual party in place of a wedding.
When we envision our family it warms our hearts to think of it beginning with gifts of love given by our community, friends and family. Your name will be painted on the walls of our nursery and written on our hearts.
