We had hoped to be having a surprise party for them in August, inviting you all, however we are not yet on the other side of the Covid, so we are doing a surprise online event for them. It's been a heck of a year (or so!) .... 2020 finds them both turning 70; Mary August 15, Bruce September 21, they have been married 50 years & both have just retired. In the last year and a half, they have faced a heart attack, a flood and cancer. They certainly deserve a party, however we will have to settle for a big virtual celebration and hope to be able to invite you all to a physical celebration some time in 2021.
Jen, Jacob, Crystal and all the kids would like you to join in and send messages, feel free to send a fun photo or two you may have that is a great memory you have of them! (Those can be sent to jenrichards3@gmail.com ). We are starting a dream vacation fund in lieu of a physical gift for anyone who would like to contribute. We plan on surprising them with this site, your messages and photos, and of course the vacation fund, in late August with a family birthday dinner celebration and we will make sure to share with you all some photos and their responses. Remember, this is a surprise!
