Kimberlee Anne Young turns 60 this year and her biggest wish is to celebrate it out here in California where it all began for a week of worry-free relaxation!
I (Jaimee) will be handling and booking all the details - what to see, where to eat, where to stay, etc! I have been in training for 34 years to do this job, and I will make sure it is done right! ;-)
This is where all of you come in! To give Mom a birthday trip to remember, I would love to make this a group effort so that it is a gift from all of the people she loves most in her life.
Your generous contribution will go towards the following:
+A round trip plane ticket (non-stop, of course!) from Hartford to LAX
+A one week stay at a clean, comfy Airbnb close by to where Adam and I live so she doesn't have cats jumping all over her as she tries to sleep :) I already have one picked out just 10 minutes from us that has a great outdoor patio where she can drink her coffee in the morning, and I will be staying with her!
+A one night stay at a cozy hotel on Catalina Island plus a golf cart ride around the island!

We will also be taking her to see the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl (with fireworks!), on a drive up the PCH to the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo for a drink and some cake, to a beach in Malibu, and to Disneyland on her actual birthday (her request)!
All of these plans (except Disney!) are a surprise, so if you could not mention anything to Mom to keep it a surprise I would appreciate it :)
