Candice Merritt Scholarship Fund
The CM Merritt Foundation was formed in recognition of Candice Marcia Merritt, a former STEM college student. We are passionate about the critical importance of Education and introducing girls and underrepresented minorities to STEM educations and careers. We achieve our goals by providing mentoring, education and conducting hands-on STEM workshops, in addition to partnering with business, the community and its citizens to generate funds to provide Scholarship assistance to well qualified deserving students. Commemorate Candice's 25th Birthday! Memories will always be sweet! Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. It takes an entire lifetime to forget. Our life changed December 2016. Candice our daughter, would be turning 25 on July 21st. One of our ways of celebrating her life is through the CM Merritt Foundation. Scholarships for women and minorities in STEM. We will be giving out our first scholarships this fall. So I’m asking my friends and family in honor of Candice please help us celebrate her life by donating to the foundation! Happy heavenly Birthday baby! We miss and love you immensely! Please join me in supporting this great cause I'm raising money for The Cm Merritt Foundation and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. New Day, New Year, New Beginnings! Giving is such an admirable act of kindness that leaves indelible marks for a lifetime. For your gifts in the past, the CM Merritt Foundation, Inc. thanks you for your continued support since its inception. Your selfless gifts have allowed us to honor Candice in so many ways and continue the growth of the endowment we established at Candice’s alma mater, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (A&T). On December 19, 2018, CM Merritt Foundation, Inc. visited A&T, met with the university’s advancement office and gifted the university with another $20,000 donation thanks to your commitment to honor Candice. Remembering and honoring Candice comes with the ability to support young ladies who are pursing careers in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) field as well encouraging young brilliant children to pursue opportunities in the STEM arena.
