Who are we?
Good Neighbour Medical is a community-driven organization that seeks to create a network of certified first-aid providers and make them more readily available and aware of within their neighbourhoods. In emergencies, neighbours can seek help from these individuals for medical treatment. Good Neighbour Medics will also be mapped using the latest ArcGIS mapping system to allow Emergency Managers the ability to call upon them in the event of an Emergency or Disaster.
GoodNeighbourMedical.com
Money is required for the following:
$35 for a year of domain and email hosting
$2500 for ArcGIS software
$2000 for Printed materials such as Good Neighbor Medical signs and cards.
$150 for incorporation and processing fees.
The rest will be used in marketing and administration costs
So why are we needed?
Medical emergencies happen around you all the time. Have you ever had to dial 9-1-1? Have you ever seen an ambulance at your neighbours? As a certified first-aid provider, Good Neighbour Medics can assist in these emergencies and decrease discomfort, pain, stress, and maybe even reduce deaths.
What does Good Neighbor Medical provide to its Medics?
Responders are called Good Neighbour Medics and will provide proof of a minimum certification of Standard First-Aid from a recognized medical provider as well as their address and phone number. They will be given a sign to display in their window or front door when home, as well as customizable contact cards to give out to neighbours.
