Inspired by Dr. Farmer and Partners In Health, I have finally found a way to use my passion for public health in Haiti.

I will be in Leogane, Haiti to perform field work focused on community development and public health alongside local translators, health care professionals, and fellow advocates.

I have an enormous passion for public health and want to go into health equity as a career. View your donation as an investment in the future of social justice! Your support will help me and many others tremendously.

Hi everyone! I just arrived back in Boston from my service trip in Haiti! It was an incredible experience and I am so lucky to have had this opportunity. I was able to learn about Haitian culture and what it's like to live in Haiti, practice Haitian Creole, give medical care and public health education to dozens of people, strengthen my leadership skills, meet 40+ incredible peer advocates, and confirm for myself that working in public health on the community level is what I am meant to be doing. Thank you to everyone who has supported me financially and in spirit. I am still collecting donations to finish covering the expenses of the program and flights, so please consider venmoing me (@jordynseri) or sending a check (contact me for the address). You can also donate directly on Plumfund, but the site takes a percentage of your donation. I'm excited to share stories and photos with everyone!
