Started by: Thomas Mardany
Hello my name is Thomas Mardany. I am just finishing up my Freshman year in High School and now I am currently training for a trip to Europe to compete in 5 European Junior Cup Slalom races in late June and July 2016. The race schedule will take me through Germany, Slovenia and Austria.
I am extremely fortunate to be a member of the Nantahala Racing Club (NRC) in Bryson City, NC; and to have qualified for the Southeast Regional Team two years in a row. Practicing on a natural river such as the Nantahala, in addition to the five days of practice a week at the US National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, should help me to prepare for the races in Europe.
I would be truly thankful for any help you may provide me to defray the cost of this trip, and appreciate any help in making this trip a reality.
