Hi, I'm Evy, a Tokyo 2020 Olympic hopeful in canoe slalom!
At the 2019 World Championships, I qualified a spot for the U.S. to send a women's canoe (WC1) to Tokyo 2020. It's the first time women's canoe will be contested in the Olympics, and it would be a great honor to represent the U.S.!
Even though the Olympics have been postponed until 2021, I'm training hard every day, with my sights set on Tokyo. I do whitewater workouts most days, and I lift weights, run, and mountain bike to cross-train. An extra year of training means I'll be even more prepared to race in Tokyo!
As you may know, there's not much funding for our sport in the U.S. That means athletes have to rely on the generosity of friends, family, and other supporters. Any level of support you can give helps me train, travel, and get to the Olympics!
Please consider making a donation and sharing this campaign with your friends and family to help spread the word (send me a message if you'd prefer to make a donation by cash or check).
Here's to Tokyo in 2021!
