Isle of Hope K-8, a Chatham County public TITLE 1 school has an Astronaut Club that has qualified 2 teams for the National Student Astronaut Challenge at the Kennedy Space Center Feb 18-21, 2018. Last year we sent 1 team who took 2nd place in the Launch/ Landing simulation. This year we plan to be competitive in all 4 events that including launch, landing, engineering, and lab presentations. We need to fund the trip for 20 students and 4 chaperone/teachers including transportation, accommodations, meals, and entry fees. Every little bit gets us closer to our goal. Thanks for your support!
