As many of you know by now, On May 17, 2021 Laurence Malone was killed in a tragic car accident while travelling home from Ojai to New Mexico. He left behind his beautiful 9-year-old son, Ikal, who lives with his mother Diana in Toluca Mexico. This sudden tragedy has been immense and overwhelming for both Diana and Ikal, and made even more difficult by the loss of Laurence's financial support. The annual Malone Memorial Ride is intended to both honor Laurence's brilliant and passionate cycling career and to generate financial support for Ikal as he matures into a young man. Our hope is that we can all contribute to Ikal's future through this fundraising effort. Thank you all for your support and we look forward to seeing you at the memorial ride on May 15th in Ojai.
