Lynn and I have been best of friends since 2001. We met while we were each serving a life sentence in Valley State Prison for Women. While we were incarcerated as survivors of domestic violence, we created the first domestic violence program for other survivors to heal.
During Lynn’s incarceration, she prepared for the day she would reunite with her daughter, Amanda and son, Jordyn. Unfortunately, I had to deliver the news to Lynn that Amanda had committed suicide in August 2017.
Lynn is starting her life free without her daughter and away from family. Lynn is a resilient and strong woman, but she needs our help. Please donate what you can to help her build her new life. Thank you!!
