The Ballard High School Concert Choir and Advanced Chorale are heading to New York City to perform at Carnegie Hall as part of the New York International Music Festival! We will be in NYC April 8th-12th, 2020, with a performance at Carnegie on Thursday, April 9th, and additional performances at St. John the Divine Cathedral and Central Park throughout the weekend. We are thrilled to have this opportunity and are hard at work rehearsing and preparing. Our goal is for ALL students in the choirs to attend. Please help us get the choirs to NYC!
The Ballard Choirs are hard at work rehearsing, preparing and fundraising for this amazing opportunity, but this is where we need your assistance. The total cost of our trip to New York is $1,800 per student, which includes airfare, hotels, meals, sight-seeing activities, and transportation to and from the airport. To ensure that all 96 students will be able to participate, please consider donating, whether small or large, to help support our cause. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support!
Located in Seattle, Washington, the award-winning Ballard High School Music Program has gained a reputation throughout the Northwest and beyond for its high level of musical excellence. Students are challenged to discover their full musical potential through the study and performance of a high-quality music repertoire. The top music ensembles at the school have traveled to festivals and performances across the country and have won multiple awards and acclaim for their high level of music-making.
