On Sunday, April 24th, a five alarm fire ravaged several homes and a church in the Cypress Hills section of Brooklyn, NY. Firefighters bravely and selflessly battled the fire through the night and were able to secure all of the residents involved. However, neither the buildings nor their contents could be saved.
One of our very own Uncommon family members, Enriqueta Briones and her family were directly affected by Sunday's tragedy. Queta (as she is known throughout the office), her six year old son, Dante and her parents have been displaced and are in need of your help and support.
While we can’t replace the family’s memories and treasured possessions, we are asking that you give whatever you can to help this family make a brand new start. Anything that you can give will go a long way and be greatly appreciated.
The family is also in need of permanent housing in the East Brooklyn area. If you or anyone you know has viable housing options, please feel free to send a private message.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
