Help me feed 50 families in need in 2021!
I'm a Lasagna Mama with Lasagna Love, a small non-profit that started during the COVID-19 pandemic to support our community by providing a homemade lasagna to those in need. Recipients are neighbors who could use a helping hand – people in need who may have lost a job due to the pandemic or are coping with illness or loss. Some are just stressed and overwhelmed and could use a nice home-cooked meal.
Lasagna Mamas and Papas purchase ingredients out-of-pocket, cook lasagnas or other meals, and then deliver them to families who have been nominated for or requested a no-cost meal due to their personal circumstances.
As of April 9, 2021, Lasagna Love has fed over 50,000 families!
Although the Lasagna Love organization itself receives sponsorships for general operations and large events like mass-donations to homeless/food shelters, Lasagna volunteers (like me!) use their personal funds to make and deliver meals and receive no reimbursements.
Donations to my Plumfund will help subsidize the cost of ingredients for lasagna dinners that I cook and deliver and allow me to feed more families than I could on my own. With your help, I intend to feed at least 4 families each month.
