My name is Arabella. I am 11 years old and I have a passion. Playing the harp is that passion, and I want to share my passion with the students at my school. Currently, there are many music programs, but the harp is not a part of any of them, and I want that to change.
I started learning the harp three years ago, and I have enjoyed every moment of it. I was inspired to learn because I saw the previous music teacher’s harp in the music room. I have since wanted to give back to my school and inspire even more people to learn the harp.
I would like to create a harp program by raising funds to donate up to 10 small orange and white harps, or “Harpsicles” to my school and to fund an endowment. I will help teach the students to learn the harp. I am humbly asking for your support.
I will be organizing and performing a celestial harp concert on April 21st at 4pm in Waialae Iki, Honolulu and I would be very grateful if you could attend in person or virtually. We will make live streaming and recordings available if you are not going to be in Honolulu at the time. Any donations to the project will allow you access to the harp concert!
My goal is to raise $15,000 and leave a resounding musical legacy.
