Do you have someone in your life who’s working hard to make ends meet, who consistently gives to her family, her friends, her community? Maybe someone who just went through a divorce, or the death of a loved one? Someone who is caring for a relative who is sick, who is single parenting, who daily battles anxiety to show up for life? Someone doing incredibly meaningful work in the world but not getting paid much for the value she offers?
I think we all know someone like that. I think a lot of us are someone like that. And you know what? She deserves a fucking break.
Not a “Chant about abundance” break.
Not a “Wake up before the sun and do yoga” break
And definitely not a “Pay $2,000 for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” break.
No. An actual break. A “here’s a comfy bed, you can sleep here, dinner is being prepared for you, and you don’t even have to do the dishes” break.
A “listen to the waterfall while I drink my morning coffee” break.
A “laugh til I cry with other women who get it” break.
But what happens when people can’t pay? Are they excluded from this experience?
At Seed to Star, that doesn’t work for us. That’s not the community we want.
We want everyone to have access to our services. And we want people who need it to get a truly nourishing break. Even from the financial stress. Even if just for a weekend.
We want to make sure the people that get forgotten about get that break. And we need your help. We want to raise $650 to sponsor an amazing woman to come to our retreat.
If we raise more, we can sponsor two women.
