Dear Roxboro Elementary Families, Relatives and Friends,
Please join us in thanking all the wonderful people that educate, protect and care for our children and school building by contributing to our 4th Annual Rox El PTA Holiday Gift Drive for ALL Teachers & Staff!
Any amount is appreciated. No amount is "too small".
There are so many people to thank - our teachers (including classroom, specials and reading) office staff, lunch aides, librarian, counselor, custodians...and others.
It's wonderful to come together as a community to ensure that every single person that works at Roxboro Elementary (our crossing guard too!) is appreciated this Holiday Season!
Please join us through this website. If you prefer, you can send in cash or a check (made payable to Rox El PTA).
We have chosen this crowdfunding website because it ONLY charges the credit card processing fee. (You will be asked if you want to donate to NorCal Fire Victims at checkout because Plumfund asks this of all contributors - just select "edit" to change suggested amount or select $0 in order to not contribute).
When you donate online, the amount you donate will not be visible. However, the total amount raised will always be visible and we will add the offline donations (cash and check) as we go to reflect total contributions.
If you send money with your child: please mark your sealed envelope "PTA Holiday Drive" so that it will be sent to office. You can also drop at the office or give directly to Colleen Beard or Clare Taft.

Last year we raised more than $3,800! We've set our goal to $4,000 this year!
And, please feel free to share this campaign with other family members or close friends that might be interested in supporting our efforts.
WHAT DO WE DO WITH THE FUNDS RAISED?
We send a survey in advance to all teachers and staff and they get to choose their "favorite" local establishment. There are a variety of businesses to choose from (approximately 10 - everything from restaurants, to coffee/book stores, to grocery stores).
We make an effort to support the local businesses that are supportive of our school throughout the year.
We then collect the survey results and buy gift cards with the funds raised through this campaign for each individual based on their response. (The gift cards are purchased for various amounts depending on the individual's role at the school.)
We will deliver these gift cards to the teacher/staff mailboxes on the last day of school prior to the holiday break.

If you contribute online, you will need to give at least $5. You can of course send in any amount in cash or check.
