Snorkel the Underwater Dog
When my daughter was young, I used to tell her bedtime stories I made up on the fly about a remarkable dog named Snorkel. Snorkel learns, by accident, that he can breath underwater. This leads to a number of adventure. My daughter, now thirteen, still remembers those stories. For years, she and my wife have been prodding me to write a series of Snorkel children's books.
The stories are written and ready to go. In order to move this project forward I need a professional illustrator to refine my rough sketches. Then I need to promote the series to publishers. With your help I can make that happen.
Here's how:
$15 Donation = Snorkel the dog T-shirt
$25 Donation = First Book in the series + Snorkel T-shirt
$50 Donation = First Book in the series + Snorkel T-shirt + Baseball Cap
$100 Donation = First 3 Books in the series + T-shirt + Snorkel Beach Towel
$250 Donation = GIFT PACK: First 3 Books in the series + 2 T-shirts + 2 Baseball Hats + 2 Beach towels
$500 Donation = GIFT PACK + you get to name a character in the series
Note: Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. But in order to receive your reward the funding goal must be met. So, please share this with your friends and family.

Hello Friends of Snorkel! I wanted to share this mock up of the first Snorkel book with you. We are still working on the stories and illustrations, but things are starting to come together. Thank you to all who have donated to fund the book. There is still a lot of work, (and money), needed to get the book off of the drawing board and into the hands of children. Thank you to all you early contributors. We are off to a good start, but still have a long way to go to get Snorkel funded. Please continue to share with your friends and family. As we move forward, we are still finalizing what Snorkel will look like. YOU CAN HELP! Just send photos of your dog(s), ideally with goggles or scuba mask.
