I asked my husband to leave.

He is using adult situations and my struggles with Bipolar II as a basis for demanding sole custody of Liam and Evelyn with supervised visits, claiming that I am a danger to myself and them.

I have years of medical records stating otherwise, and full support of my physicians as we proceed with the war to come.

I am not asking for full custody.

I am not trying to take his rights to Liam and Eve away.

I do not want his money.

I AM asking that my struggles and triumphs with Bipolar II not be used as a weapon against me to remove me from Liam and Eve's life.

I have no money. I am in the process of filing for disability for my Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, as I am no longer able to work in my field (Dental Laboratory Technician).

I need financial help.

I have found an attorney who will take on my case, and I have zero money to retain her.

Anything is tremendously appreciated.

I found moments of tremendous generosity difficult to embrace when I was under the thumb of abuse. As I move forward in my truth with vulnerability and compassion, I feel the meaning of true love for the first time in my life.
