My lawyer through the Oregon Bar Modest Means program is asking that I pay a 1200 dollar trial retainer by the 18th or I will not have legal representation any longer.
I have already paid an initial 1500 dollar retainer, as well as making small payments when I could.
I was a stay at home mom for the last 13 years. Finding work was hard when my husband left our family home on April 18th, 2017. I am employed as a barista and constantly on the search for more gainful employment. Meanwhile, I'm trying to keep all my kids together in their home with me as their primary caregiver. I'm not denying him visitation and we already have agreed to joint custody. I just need to not lose legal representation as I move forward in negotiating
