My step sister Angie Johnson (Price), of Proctor Minnesota, has recently been diagnosed with stage four breast cancer. The cancer is the most aggressive form and has spread through the lymph nodes and is now metastasizing to her bones (her collar bone, femur, spine, and hips). Angie will be needing a double mastectomy and full hysterectomy after undergoing 12 weeks of chemo, and then radiation to shrink the cancer. This cancer (stage four and having spread through the lymph nodes to other parts of the body) is not curable, only manageable. She, her family, and doctors hope that the radiation, chemo and surgery can help prolong her life.
Angie has worked full time her entire life. She and Joe have two children; Kaylie, ten years, and Kyle, twenty. Her husband Joe has had a long battle with Crones Disease but his condition is under control and is not deadly. Angie is obviously now unable to work since beginning her radiation and chemo two months ago. She feels weak often and has now lost all her hair. She is currently using a walker.
The Needs Angie and her family have:
Angie was working full time bringing home approximately $2,000 monthly. She is on short term disability which only provides $800 a month. This leaves Angie and her family short $1,200 a month due to the cancer.
Angie’s family is currently in need of financial help with utilities which include:
• Rent and water: (due on the 1st of each month) $1,100
• Electric: $110/month
• Gas: $35/month
Please pray and PLEASE help us in supporting Angie and her family. Together, we can make a difference by being part of helping them be able to enjoy the rest of the time they have together. We can make a difference by ministering hope in a practical way. Please pray and give whatever you feel called to give.
Thankyou sincerely,
Charity and Kaden Gariepy on behalf of Angie Johnson’s (Price) family
