Bobby is 44 & has Stage 4 Colon Cancer. His positivity & great doctors got him through cancer 3 times before. Each time, his loving wife took on so much responsibility. Bobby & Angel's positivity is inspirational & they have an amazing love story. They'd never ask for help yet are always helping others. They have a lot to be thankful for, but do need help. They're still paying on medical bills from the last time he had cancer, & new expenses are already adding up. Every dollar would help them :)

Latest Update

2 weeks until we get to discuss making adjustments to Bobby's treatment plan, as long as his scans are good. It's exciting, yet scary, to back off of the more aggressive treatment & find a lower/easier combo of chemo/meds that will still work to control the disease but also allow for a more normal life. I'm so grateful for the moments when we aren't thinking about the cancer, but they are few & far between. We are positive & optimistic. Bobby doesn't "look" like a cancer victim, unlike during his previous battles. He hasn't lost all of his hair, nor has he lost much weight. He's still eating & going to work & smiling. But so much has changed, & it's hard on him. We used to love going to the gym together daily, but he hasn't been able to go once since he started treatment almost 6 mo ago. He never fully regains his strength or energy, & it's hard on him when people don't understand. To everyone who checks in on us, thank you so much. It means a lot, & we appreciate it.

Hi everyone! Bobby just finished chemo #9 and is home resting. After 6 more weeks, as long as the next scans are good, they will look at making adjustments to his treatment plan. He is doing well, just mostly feeling tired & a bit weak. We are so happy to have such a great medical team, friends, & family. Thank you to everyone who has been there for us. 💕

**Update from Angela** Chemo #6 today, & Bobby is doing well. Dylan, Michele, & Alex are here, & we've been having such a great family visit. Great news - Bobby's CT scan showed no evidence of the cancer!! He will still likely be on treatment the rest of his life to keep fighting the microscopic cancer in his system that is too small to be detected, to keep it at bay. Although that is an overwhelming thought, we are so thankful that our doctors are taking such great care of him. They are amazing, as are our family and friends who have been praying & supporting us. Thank you everyone! :-)

**Update from Angela** Bobby's 4th treatment was last Thursday, & he was rocking his "Straight Outta Chemo" t-shirt. :) He's feeling rough but doing well, and he's mostly in good spirits. After 2 more treatments, he will have another scan to see how well the chemo, (... & prayers, love, & positivity...) are affecting the cancer. That is about a month away, & our hopes are high. Thank you to everyone for the love & support. It really makes this journey so much more bearable for him. Bobby is the most wonderful part of my life, & I have so much love & appreciation for everyone who has made an effort to make his life better. ❤️

**Update from Angela** Bobby had chemo #3 on Thursday & had the portable pump removed today, so he has 12 days to recover, relax, (work,) & have some fun before the next one. They reduced his dosage of one of the chemo meds & added a supplement to make it easier on him, so hopefully he'll recover more quickly. His parents are in town from MD & have been keeping him company & making lots of delicious food! Friends have dropped off homemade healthy dinners too, which has been an extreme help with everything that we have going on. We appreciate you all so much. The prayers and kind words mean the world to Bobby, to me, & to everyone who cares about him. Thank you! - Angela

**Update from Angela** Bobby had his 2nd chemo session today, & it went much better than the 1st. He is a little tired & nauseated but not nearly as sick as the time before. He was just saying that he thinks he might actually end up feeling well enough to go to church this Sunday! They added another med to help, but I also believe it made a difference that one of his best friends, Davey, came down from MD to visit, (with some stuffed ham!) Having him here really lifts his spirits. And my sweet friend and colleague, Brittany, stopped by for a visit and dropped off an amazing dinner. Bobby goes home each time with a portable pump that continues infusing one of the chemo drugs, and he gets it removed on Saturday. I'm praying that he continues feeling as well as he is feeling right now through the weekend, and we appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers... Positive Attitude Changes Everything! :)

**Update from Angela** We want to thank you for the donations, thoughts, prayers, kindness and love. And thank you Melanie, for setting this up and for being so amazing. We are grateful for all of you. We are also grateful that Valentine's Day fell two days before chemo, so Bobby was feeling great, and we were able to enjoy a wonderful night out at The Boathouse. Thank you again to everyone!

This pic is from Bobby's 1st day of chemo on 2/2/17. Bobby is only 44 and battling Stage 4 Colon Cancer. This is his 4th battle with cancer in the last 13 years, and his wife Angel has been beside him the entire time. They are an inspiration.
