Yesterday, I woke up and noticed that my dog's eyeball was totally bloodshot and filming over. There is something seriously wrong with Banana's eye. I can tell that he's in a lot of pain but all I can do is love him. I have no money to take him to the vet and no way to get him there.

Two days ago, a hit and run driver totaled my vehicle. On average, I drive at least an hour for work. Without a car, I cannot make a living.

Many of you contact me daily to tell me that you love my work. I am always so glad to hear from you. If I have given you anything, from inspiration to a good time, please take the time to spare a few dollars to help me out of this situation. It's not often I've been this desperate and I'm counting on you, my community and fans, to help me.

If you're able to contribute, I'm willing to give you something in return - a personalized video, or a signed photograph. If you're in my area, we can even meet up for a hug or more :)

Latest Update

Hey everyone - I took Banana in to get his eyeball fixed up today. I was a little short for the procedure but they went ahead anyways. He still has an aftercare check up in two weeks. It's nearly impossible to see in the photo - but if you look at the brighter photograph, you can see a little line on the bottom right part of Banana's eye. That's the laceration. His eyelid would blink and kept tearing it open, so it wasn't healing correctly. The vet did something where they smoothed the laceration and lessened some inflamed skin under the actual lid. His eye is red and the area around it is a bit swollen - but he doesn't seem to mind. I'm still raising money to fix up car so that I can bring in a steady income, and to pay for Banana's different eye drops and aftercare appointment - but we've gotten over the hump and I'm so grateful for that!

Hey folks, I just wanted to update you on what's going on. Banana's appointment is on Tuesday and I'm really excited! I'm only a few bucks away from that and feel very confident that we'll be fine on that front. I got my car out of the impound lot a few weeks ago (it was bloody expensive but if I had left it the lot would have continued to charge me a daily storage fee). So the car is sitting behind my house in disrepair. The good news is the repairs are going to be a lot cheaper than I initially thought. Thanks everyone for helping me straighten this all out. I could not be doing this without you. I am in your debt. --Kipp

I've been posting updates on facebook, so most of y'all of up-to-date on what's going on. So far, I took Banana into the vet last week with money folks donated. We got him on antibiotics and he is doing a lot better than when I initially discovered the injury. I was informed that Banana has an eye laceration with inflamed tissue and needs a procedure to help his eye heal. We're out of the woods thanks to you folks, but I want to get him the rest of the care he needs. As for my car, I was able to retrieve it from the tow lot. It's currently parked in back of my house. I won't be looking to fix it till everything is done with Banana, but a friend did say that it'll be thousands less than I thought it was - good news! Donations have been slowing down. Please help us keep this alive! Thanks for everything folks!
