On August 20th 2014, I was blessed with a beautiful baby girl! Just 2 weeks later my Paigan Grace couldn't tolerate her milk and wouldn't keep ANYTHING down and was losing weight. I took her to her Pediatrician where she felt Paigan's belly and told me she felt something. She was sent over to the Hospital to have an emergency Ultrasound, where they found a mass attached to her liver. That next morning we were sent to another Hospital two hours away where she was admitted and doctors started performing tests. It was concluded that she had Hepatic Hemangiothomia(a very vascular tumor located on the inside of the liver). They decided to try and treat the tumor with medication to maybe shrink it. From September 2014 up to July 2016 she had to go for routine blood work, ultrasounds, and check ups every 2 weeks at the Hospital 2 hours away from our home. Paigan's father decided to leave 6 months after Paigan was born taking the only vehicle we had.(Unfortunately in his name) He does NOT pay child support mainly because I'm in the process of having him removed from the birth certificate he doesn't claim her nor want her. January 2016 Paigan's doctors discovered her liver was in the slow stages of failing. I was forced to quit my job and solely take care of her until the tumor removal date of July 15th 2016. We had to depend on my parents as we still are. Finally, the tumor was removed and Paigan has recovered amazingly! I found another job as soon as i could started late August and still currently working. Paigan and I are in desperate need of a car I'm not able to save ANY money with my current job and can't try and find a higher paying job unless i can get Paigan back and forth to daycare my Mom works 1st shift leaving me with no vehicle until she gets home then its my turn to go to work. We have overcame so many obstacles and I'm trying my absolute hardest to give Paigan a great life from here on out! I was accepted back into college for the Fall semester but there again without a vehicle im unable to transport Paigan back and forth to daycare. If anyone could help Paigan and I deeply appreciate it! Thank you!!
