Bethan and her husband and young son moved to Omaha in search of "The Good Life" in 2005. Six years later, few small bumps in the road and two more children and it seemed and it seemed that search was over.
Bethans brother unexpectedly passed away in 2012. The loss was devastating as they had been so close. Her marriage was falling apart and she turned to narcotics. After a visit from cps, the foreclosure of their family home and their subsequent eviction from the apartment they found Bethan saw the hurt her kids were experiencing. Each day seemed to contain another loss.
While her husband has chosen to remain without a job and under the influence, bethan is sober and determined to give her kids the life they deserve.
She is currently living with her parents and husband. it's a volatile and unhealthy situation. I won't get into all the details but I will say I worry about her and those kids daily.
Shes disabled and on SSDI. She needs to pay her debt to her former landlord and the electric company so she can find a safe place to live. Her kids need summer clothes and they need a car. She has been trying to get into one of the local DV shelters but there just hasn't been any room yet. I don't have the space to have them move in.
Please se consider donating to help this family have the life they deserve And to be happy.
