I have been married for 43 years. I was there through my husband's military career, which included Vietnam and Desert Storm.
Two years ago he had several serious medical problems and was hospitalized for most of the summer. While in the hospital he decided he wasn't happy anymore and hatched a plan to divorce me. He made his plans without telling me and moved away several months after leaving the hospital. All along he told me things were fine and we would be ok! Liar!
Divorce proceedings are in the works . He has not spoken to or seen me in over a year! I don't know his address or his telephone number. Because of this nonsense, I've lost my son and three grandchildren because I don't know where they are either.
I haven't worked in 14 years and am having problems finding a job after all this time. He supported us and now that support is gone.
He's trying to take away the small amount to of money he promised me and with my early Social Security, I'm barely making ends meet. I need to clean my house but don't have the stamina to do it.
I never expected to be divorced in my 60s for the first time! He's the love of my life but I guess I'm not his! I need to pay for a lawyer to make sure I get what I deserve! Thanks!
