Gary Palmer is a community-minded carpenter & contractor who is a very kind & giving person, always doing favours, helping friends & neighbours. Now he needs our help & encouragement! Over the past few years Gary has given thousands of hours of free labour to a local non-profit ... that's just the kind of person he is! This morning, a devastating fire has destroyed Gary's workshop, storage & office, plus all his tools which are his livelihood. HE HAD NO INSURANCE! Funds are immediately needed for safe demolition & removal of the burnt structure. Funds are needed urgently to replace Gary's tools. Funds will be needed to rebuild the workshop & reestablish his carpentry business. Will you open your heart to assist?

Latest Update

We want to express our very sincere gratitude to each of you that so kindly responded with a generous gift towards the rebuilding of Gary's workshop. This fund will close in 7 days. Anyone wishing to make a last-minute contribution may do so. :) To date $6,290 has been raised & passed on to Gary. He is genuinely grateful for every dollar that has come in, and is encouraged that people have been willing to come to his assistance at a time of great loss & difficulty. So, a big THANK YOU to each one! God bless.

Thank to those who given so far! We still have a long way to go to reach the goal. Many people have shared it but not made a contribution!! Please dig deep to help! Some have asked why Gary did not have insurance ... he was in fact in process of obtaining insurance having recently renovated the workshop & built on an office, but it was not in place when the fire struck!
