On November 10, 2018, my husband Matt and I will be participating in the annual Rocky Run in Philadelphia in honor of my friend Aimee Dolinac. Aimee received a diagnosis of Charcot-Marie Tooth’s (CMT) disease when she was only 22. CMT is a progressive neurological disorder affecting her nerves and muscles. Aimee has gone from walking to wheelchair to recently her bed because the CMT made it too difficult to operate her wheelchair. Although Aimee was devastated because she could not leave her home or spend time with her beautiful children as she used to, Aimee continued to be a fighter, staying hopeful and positive. Recently Aimee received her new motorized wheelchair and is back in action! But the medical bills have made it so that she can not afford the cost of converting her van into a handicap accessible vehicle. Please support this amazing woman. Fixing this van will enable her to get back to living her life, caring for her young sons, and seeing her friends and family again! Our goal is $2500. Thank you everyone! Love, Helen Genova
