Ruth had been married for 9+ years with two children when her husband walked away from his marriage and filed for a divorce in 2016. She originally settled out of court with a hope that the marriage could be reconciled (she was very amicable in the settlement). However, after a year her ex-husband has now decided to go back to court in order to modify (lower or drop the child support) while demanding more time with the children. With the marriage dissolved, Ruth took on the responsibility of a medical bill (about 3,000.00) that occurred during their marriage when she had to go to the hospital. She financially had no choice but to go back into the work force which she willingly did, but this has not allowed her enough time to raise the sufficient amount of money to retain a lawyer.

All the monies will be used in the battle to help in her defense in the court and the custody arrangements of her children. Thanks for anything that you may feel led to give. Every little amount will help. As her parents we are also helping her with the expenses.

Good morning Facebook friends and family. Just wanted to give an update. We will be going to court three weeks from today. Please continue to pray for all of us. Pray for wisdom and discernment. Please pray that the Lord will work. We appreciate all of your prayers, encouragement, and support! God has been good and we know that He is in complete control. Court date is set for April 23. I will let you know the time later so you can be praying as well.
