The Sonoma County fires came quick. Fueled by dry conditions and fanned by gusts of high winds reaching 80 miles per hour, those in its path had little or no warning before they had to evacuate. The fire spared nothing. Shawn, his partner Susan and his 14-year-old son had no warning. Woken by their power going out they took their dog outside to go potty. Seeing the fire was only two blocks away, gave them less than 30 minutes to organize themselves, grab their dogs and a couple of items. Everything was lost. As in all things of this nature, there are gaps in coverage and unforeseen expenses especially since they will be displaced up to two years as they rebuild. He and his family are humbled by the blessings received and thank you in advance for support in helping them restore normality to their lives. Every penny helps, give what you can to help with this unforeseen tragedy.
