On December 19th, 2016 the Barget twins arrived at 25 weeks' 5 days gestation. Mason Cole was born at 2:22 pm weighing in at 1lb 12oz. Karter Alexander was born at 2:25 pm weighing 1lb 13oz. Marion was expected to deliver the twins on March 15, 2017/ 38 weeks gestation. Being 3 months premature, they were immediately placed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at GBMC.

The Barget twins are expected to have a prolonged stay at the NICU, where they will be in a safe environment to allow their bodies to keep developing.

Nevertheless, Mason and Karter have been fighting from day one and against all odds. They are growing stronger everyday and will continue on this long journey.

Parents, Kyle and Marion could not be any prouder of their boys and are excited for the day they get to take their baby boys home.

Good thoughts and prayers coming your way. Feel better, Karter.

Please say a little prayer for Karter as he will be undergoing surgery tomorrow morning for a hydrocele (A fluid-filled sac around a testicle). This is a common surgery for male babies and we hope for a speedy recovery.

Karter and Mason are doing well. Mason has begun eating cereal just a few spoonfuls before he closes his mouth completely. Karter is like a little inchworm and enjoys playing with his feet. Karter too has had a few hiccups in his sleeping routine so both boys came out of their bassinets and are now in their own pack n play. Karter breaths heavily, but the doctor is not concerned. We saw the surgeon last Thursday for Karter's hydrocele and they decided surgery is necessary. The surgery is scheduled for October 26th. Karter is able to roll over in his sleep sack, so we had to stop swaddling his arms. Karter loves knowing what's going on so he always wants to be up and looking around. He likes stroller rides and Pat- A -Cake.

They're so adorable!! Can you believe how far you all have come? You are so blessed - and a deserving family. 😁

Mason eats about 1 bowl of cereal a day. He is starting to show signs of rolling over and can make it to his side. He is able to bring his feet up to his mouth. Mason hasn't been sleeping as well as before, but is getting back into a routine. Mason is still being swaddled. He loves reading books, going for rides in the stroller and napping on Mommy. All of his toys end up in his mouth. Mason is our observer and is content with the world in front of him.

Today Mason had a pulmonary Appointment. He was given the task of feeding without his required oxygen. They placed a pulse ox on his foot to see if he maintain his stats . He would need to do this without any desat or a drop in his heart rate. He was successful without any issues! We will discontinue his oxygen!!! In a month we cut his lasics dose in half and a month after that we will cut his potassium chloride dosage in half. Yay Mason! We are so proud of you! ... Thank you Karter for sleeping the whole time during the appointment!

Mason Day May 19, 2017 6 years ago, we met the Scherer family, Scott and Lisa, Sydney and Mason. He was a student in the primary class my internship year at Montessori Manor. During his three years in Primary, Mason faced many challenges. When he was five years old, he was diagnosed with Alexander’s Disease. The prognosis was not favorable, stating that he would live until his early to mid-teens. But alas, it became less favorable, as on August 4, 2015, Mason suffered breathing issues and passed away at six years old. In honor of Mason Scherer, we named our son Mason! Come to find out after the boys were born, Carter was Mason Scherer's middle name!! As his family found ways to cope with their grief and loss, Lisa wanted to share time with other children and be at Mason’s school. Lisa and Sydney came to school and read Mason's favorite book. Mason loved orange! We wear orange in remembrance of this bright, lovable, brave, strong, and smiling life lost too soon.

Mason has was awake from 2 pm until 10:56 pm! Whew! He's a growing boy! Karter was awake from 2: 30 pm to 9 pm. His cheeks are so chubby he looks like a chipmunk storing nuts in his mouth! We increase their feeds to M-3 ounces and K- 4 ounces. The boys were in matching outfits until Karter had a massive explosion in his diaper and needed to be completely changed! Today Mrs. Linda came over and helped Mommy with the boys while Daddy was at work. She was a huge help and the boys loved snuggling with her. Thank You!

The boys had a very busy day! Aunt Amanda and Kate helped with baths for the boys and then went to their NICU friend, Amora's Baby Shower with the help of Auntie M. Thanks for all your help!!! Whew! Mommy is beat! Hopefully a good nights sleep in between feeds, making sure not to wake Daddy who has to work in the morning. Oh... And Thanks Auntie I for our Easter outfits we wore today!

Tuesday, April 4, 2017. 107 Days. 40.6 weeks gestation. Happy Birthday Linda Devenport. Mason- 2900 grams, up 55 grams, 6 pounds 6.3 ounces. Mason- only needs oxygen with feedings on the nasal cannula 1/16th of a liter. Karter- Increased feeds to 65cc's. Shallow study was done at 2 :30 where they did an ultrasound while Mason Drank barium. The study showed that Mason is no longer having aspirations. His acid reflux is still occurring. The prevacid takes about 2 weeks to be fully effective, but is showing to already help a little. Mommy fed him at 11:15 am and 5:50 pm. Daddy visited while Mommy and Karter were in the family waiting room. Mrs. Isles visited both of the boys. Karter was very well behaved today and did lots of eating and sleeping just as we would expect. He loves being held, especially on your chest. Nurse Kim calls the boys her grandsons!

Monday, April 3, 2017. 106 days. At the hospital, they took Mason's nasal cannula off and said he only needs it with feeds. They oxygen is set on 1/32 of 100% oxygen. Later this week they plan to lower the head of the bed (a requirement before going home, must be flat per SIDS), remove pulse ox, car seat test. Weight: Lost 5 grams, 2845 grams, 6 pounds 4.3 Ounces. Mason did well with feeds both night and day. He breastfed at 8 am and 12 pm. He gets the "Gold Dtar Growth" from Mommy for working really hard to feed well. We are super proud of him. Last week was showing a downward trend, 7th percentile, should be in the 10th percentile. Karter was in the 15th percentile which was great for a twin male preemie. Full term babies are normally in the 50th percentile. Karter is enjoying being home, but is excited to be reunited with his brother soon.

You are truly blessed to have such a wonderful support team around you. Can't wait to hear that Mason is ready to go home!

Saturday, April 1st, 2017, 104 Days (Phew, Mommy and Daddy and so ready for Mason to come home.Hopefully soon.) Karter slept well during the night while Mason worked on his bottle feeding with Nurse Inga. Mom Mom, Pop Pop, and Auntie M watched Karter, so that Mommy and Daddy could visit Mason together. Mason- same weight as yesterday, 2800 grams, 6 pounds 2.7 ounces, Changed fortifier to 24 calories. Nurse Kim told us, "Please be patient with me. God is not through with me yet." While we were there Mason practiced laid back nursing at 12 and 2:00. Mr. Wayne bounced Mason until his bottle was ready. Daddy gave him a bottle at 3:30. Mrs.Karen the respiratory therapist held Mason to try to work some of the air out of mason so he would burp. Mr. Chip and Mrs. Debby met Karter at Mom Mom and Pop Pop's house. They were so kind and brought a homemade dinner. Thank You! We appreciate it! Auntie I came over and held Karter for the first time. Thank you Krissy and Mrs. Debby for the outfits!

We will reevaluate on Monday. Daddy visited after lunch. Mommy came back for 2:00 feeding and stayed for 4:30 feeding, but Mason was too tired and asleep. Aunt Amanda stopped by the house to meet and hold Karter for the first time. Mommy and Daddy gave Karter a bath. He slept much better between Cares through the night.

Friday, March 31, 2017. 103 days. Karter continues to bottle feed and breastfeed well. He is drinking 60cc's (2 ounces) in his bottle. Mason is still working on taking his full bottle amount. Today we tried laid back nursing for the first time. Mason lost 90 grams, 2800, 6 pounds 2.7 ounces. Early in the morning he was experiencing an increased number of desats so they placed him back on the nasal cannula continuously. Pop Pop came to visit Mason during his 9 o'clock feeding with Mommy. The doctor called and said that after the speech therapist fed Mason with the bottle, she wanted to have a swallow study conducted. This consists of him drinking barium and as he drinks they perform a ultrasound. The conclusion showed that Mason has a clinical case of acid reflux and aspirations. This would explain Mason' s difficulties with eating. They also said that because of the acid reflux his esophageal tissues are probably inflamed contributing to irritation and discomfort. Mason' s schedule changed from at lib to on demand meaning that when he wakes up and is hungry he can eat instead of waiting until a certain time. Pop Pop and MoM Mom picked Mommy up from the hospital and came over to visit Karter. Mom Mom snuggled with Karter and read Bunny's Easter Blessings. At Mason' s 8 30 feeding he wore the nasal cannula and took 52 cc's without any desats. Mommy Daddy are very tired.

Thursday, March 30, 2017. 102 Days Old. Karter was up most of the night. Mommy went to the hospital to feed Mason at 9am, but he too sleepy. This gave mommy time for extra snuggles. At rounds, they decided to use oxygen/ nasal cannula during feeds. Need ing intake was inconsistent. They cut his potassium level in half to help prepare him for when he gets discharged. Mason weighs 6 pounds 5.9 ounces, gain 135 grams, 2890 grams. Not sure the exact reason for the large increase. Karter had a doctor's appointment with Dr. Jelin, the paediatric surgeon that did Karter's broviac caurterization and hernia repair. He said that everything looked great and the ultrasound showed no changes so we will repeat another one in 3 months and see him afterwards. Karter weighs 5 pounds 5.2 ounces. After his doctors appointment we went upstairs to the NICU to visit Mason. Karter waited in the waiting room while Mommy and Daddy took turns seeing Mason. Mommy stayed to feed Mason while Daddy and (cont.)

Look at that adorable little man!! 😍 You can do it Mason!

The Doctors, Kyle and I are discussing what is best for Mason. He can stay in the NICU until 42 weeks gestation. We are almost at 40 weeks this Wednesday. Should Mason stay in the NICU and work on coming off of the oxygen or should he come home on oxygen with monitors, and potential taking a bit longer to come off the oxygen. We will talk to the Doctor again today to discuss this matter further, looking at the pros and cons. We told the Doctor that we want what is best for Mason and he said either will work, it is what we feel comfortable with. I want Mason to come home so badly, but I also want to make sure he is getting e care he needs. This has been long journey we know that God has a plan and will take Mason in the right direction. Have a blessed Sunday and thank God for his grace.

Tuesday, March 21, 2017. 93 days old. MASON- 2720 grams. 5 lbs 15.9 ounces. He had a head ultrasound in the morning which unchanged. He stimulants a tiny cyst in the left front ventricle of the brain. At 2pm Mason was circumcised by Dr. Morrell (our most favorite doctor). At 9 am Mason breastfed but was too tired for the 6 pm feeding because of his circumcision. Mason is now breathing on a low flow cannula which consists of 100% oxygen with 1/8th of a liter without any pressure. They stopped his vitamin D and cut his potassium in half. He had to get a SINIJIS shot. Nurse Bev gave him lots of snuggles and Daddy visited him in the evening. Karter went to the pediatrician for the first time at Pavilion Pediatrics and saw Dr. Ganunis. He weighs 4 pounds 13.5 ounces. Visitors: Mom Mom, Pop Pop, Auntie M.

Saturday, March 18 2017- 90 Days Old. Karter gets discharged today!!! Mason is getting better at feeding on the breast and bottle every time he practices. He breastfed at 6am and 12pm and took a bottle from Daddy. He is breathing on 23-28% oxygen on the 1 Liter nasal cannula. Mommy held both boys at 6 am and Daddy held Mason at 3 pm. Karter has been breastfeeding and bottles throughout the day. It was so hard taking Karter home and not bringing Mason along. It is a horrible feeling, but you don't have a say. You are so joyful and excited to take one baby home, but at the same moment you feels so sad to leave the other baby in the NICU. It would have been so nice to take both boys at the same time. Mason has roughly two more weeks in the NICU. We are so proud of both our boys. The nurses said they would give Mason extra snuggles for us and not to be upset because they will take good care of him. Having Karter home the first couple hours, Kyle and I were in disbelief. We love our baby!

Wednesday, March 15 2017 87 Days Old, 38 weeks gestation!!! Mason- 5lbs 11.4 ounces, 2590 grams. Karter- 4 lbs 10.4 ounces, 2110 grams. They discontinued Karter's diaretic and electrolytes. Masons diaretics have been lowered to once a day instead of twice a day. Mason breastfed at 6 am, 9 am and 12 pm. Karter breastfed at 6 am, 9 am, 12 pm, and 3 pm. Dr. Helou worked really hard to get a second and third opinion from the radiologist for his MRI. After thoroughly exhausting all options, Dr. Helou was able to conclude that another MIR was unnecessary, the liver cyst stayed the same in size, and the ultrasound taken on March 6th would suffice. He will have an outpatient follow up ultrasound on March 29th with Dr. Jelin. Karter pulled his feeding tube out around 4:30 pm, so they decided to keep it out! Mommy enjoyed her snow day so much!

Thursday, March 9, 2017. Karter had hernia surgery this morning at 8 30. He was in the OR for 2 hours. The actual surgery took about 45 minutes. The doctor said that everything went well. He completed a hernia repair on the right side and also did his circumcision. He did find a hydrocele on the left testicle and will keep an eye on it to see if it will need repair or not. He returned back in the NICU at around 11 30. We are still waiting for the anesthesia to wear off and for Karter to wake up. Once he awakens they will try to activate him (take him off the ventilator). Karter weighs 2100 grams, a gain of 70 grams, 4 pounds 10 ounces. Mason weighs 2365 grams, loss of 15, 5 pounds 3.4 ounces. Mason' s feeds are at 46 cc's for a half hour every 3 hours. Karter is held in a football hold and uses a Ultra Preemie nipple. After every 5 sucks, we pause to allow Karter time to recover and so he will still want to breastfeed. The bottle is a free flow whereas with breastfeeding, he has to pull to get the milk. If he thinks the bottle is an easier way to get milk, he won't want to breastfeed anymore.

You guys are truly inspirational😘😘😘😘 Dear God, as you look down upon us, We know that you might have to squint. We’re located here in the NICU It’s the nursery that we rent. There are many alarms and sirens, Connected to condos and flats. The nurses tape our booties on, And dress us in funny hats. We have a lot in common; All of us were in a hurry. For many different reasons, Our storks came a little early. Some of us don’t know why, We bursted out from our bubbles. We entered into this world, Never meaning to cause any troubles. Mommy and Daddy are worried sick About the odds that we must beat. Please God, help them to realize, That seeing us grow is a treat. Breath by breath, we’ll learn to breathe. Ounce by ounce we’ll tip the scale. We’re like a boat in the ocean, That knows not sink- only sail. For we are living miracles, Mommy and Daddy must simply believe, That you have angels watching over us; From the time we arrive, till the time we leave.

Sunday, January 29, 2017 When I called the NICU this morning to check on the boys, the nurse said that there have been a few changes. Around 12 am when the nurse was doing his cares, he was having an increase in bradicarias. She noticed he looked uncomfortable, so she called Dr. Goddard to come tame a look at him. They decided to move him back up to a CPAP plus 7 and change his mask to prongs. During 3 o'clock cares, the same thing happened with Mason. His oxygen was increasing, he looked uncomfortable, so the nurse called Dr. Goddard to look at him. They got a chest X-Ray and noticed it looked a little hazy. When they weighed him, he had gained 85 grams weighing 2 pounds 14 ounces. This means he is withholding fluids, so they ordered him a dose of Lasics (a diabetic) to help him urinate out some of the fluids. Since then, he has had 1 bradicarias. Both boys blood gases are fine and they are maintaining their temperature. They might discuss putting Mason on a diaretic plan.

It went well and he resumed breathing on 21℅ oxygen (room air). He lost 10 grams and weighs 2 pounds 4 ounces. 1/26//17 continued... I've the course of the day Mason was tackycardic, meaning that his heart rate was intermittently high (another sign of anemia). When they checked his labs they found that his blood count was low, but his platelets were good. His caffeine levels were low, so they said they would increase his dosage. For the blood transfusion they stopped his feedings 4 hours prior. The transfusion takes 3 hours, and they don't continue feedings until 4 hours post transfusion. On a good note, Karter's liver cyst is decreasing in size and his liver functions are good. They have an abdominal ultrasound scheduled for February 6th. Both boys will be having an eye exam on Friday to check the blood vessels. Both boys have a head ultrasound scheduled for January 31, 2017. Mommy had Kangaroo Care with Mason to help comfort him before they gave him a preferrial IV and started his transfusion at 9 30 pm.

Thursday, January 26, 2017. Mason 1190 grams, gained 30 grams, 2 pounds 10 ounces. Karter 1030 grams, gained 40 grams, 2 pounds 4.3 ounces. Karter didn't have any bradicarias all day long!!! Mason has had an increased amount of apnic Bradicarias where he stops breathing. They checked his hymaticrite and found out that his levels are low (23.4%). They determined he is anemic and decided that he needed a blood transfusion. He found that there was an increased amount of acid in his blood. They really do not like to give blood transfusion between 30 and 32 weeks, however it is necessary. They worry about necrotizing colitis with preemie babies. Necrotizing means damage and/ or death of cells, "entero" refers to the intestine, and "colitis" means inflammation of the colon. It can lead to intolerance to feedings, abdominal swelling and other serious complications. There is aLso a risk of infection because due to the blood being someone elses.

Monday, January 16, 2017 Today the boys are 4 weeks old! With schools being closed for Martin Luther King Jr Day, Mommy was able to spend the whole day in the NICU with the boys. Daddy works night shift, so he came for a short visit. This morning both boys had their blood gas, electrolyte, and Hymadacrite levels checked. Karter was breathing on 30℅ oxygen this morning. He has had many bradicardic episodes during the day. He weighs 2 pounds .1 ounces. Karter went down 30 grams. Karter is breathing at 44℅ oxygen on the CPAP8. CPAP 8 gives more pressure allowing the lines to open a little more. This way, Karter doesn't have to work as hard. Karter's feedings have increased to 4.8 cc's. Mason gained 10 grams and weighs 2 pounds 6.1 ounces. He is breathing on 63℅ oxygen. Steroids for both boys started this evening. The risk factors are hyperglycemia, suppressed immunity (more chance for infection), blood pressure can go up, cerebral palsy, and developmental delay. To be Cont.

Sunday, January 15 2017 Mason weighs 2 pounds 6 ounces. They have increased his feeds to 6.3 cc's. He is breathing at 42 to 52% oxygen. He is really growing! Mason and Daddy had Kangaroo Care together while Mommy and Karter took a break from children's board books today and read about Car Seat guidelines and instructions. Karter lost weight and is now 2 Pounds 1 ounce. His feeds were also increased to 4.8 cc's. During the night, he experienced 5 bradicardic episodes. He was able to recover himself, except for 1. There was another time during the morning when he experienced apnea (stopped breathing) where the nurse had to administer breaths through the Neopuff. They switched him from the CPAP 6 to the CPAP 7. He is breathing on 38 to 48% oxygen. When they did an x-Ray this morning they noticed an accumulation of fluid in the lungs so they administered his 1 dose of Lasics, a diaretic, to clear lungs through urination. To be continued...

1/14/17 continued. We were surprised to learn that the oxygen being provided can effect their eye sight. They will check their eye sight at 32 weeks gestation. Mason is at 42 to 50% oxygen so they are considering administering a steroid. Like any steroid, it reduced the inflammation of their premature lungs/ Respiratory Distress Syndrome/ Cronic Lung disease. Mason is continuing to feed at 6 cc's and weighs 2 pounds 7 ounces/ 1040 grams, a loss of 10 grams. Today in the NICU between 12:30 and 1 pm new twin boys arrived (32 weeks gestation). Believe it or not, they placed them in Ally's old room!! We have not yet met the parents. When we do, I will share their names. Today Mason had Kangaroo Care with Mommy while Karter focused on his breathing. They compare his breathing to an older adult tuning up a long flight of stairs 10 times in a row! Breathing is a lot of work for the size of Karter and it uses his whole body to inhale and exhale. They say he is burning a lot of calories.

Saturday, January 14, 2017. We are counting our blessings. Today was another fabulous day at the NICU. We are so profound to share that Karter came off the ventilator at 10:15 am this morning and was placed on the CPAP machine!!! He is breathing on his own! Before we left the NICU, the Respitory Therapist said he was doing well and looked good. He was given a new feeding tube and another tube for venting the air in his stomach. They did a Blood Gas at 5 and said it was alright and they would repeat another one at 11 pm. They are monitoring his closely for next few days to make sure he can sustain his breathing on the CPAP. He is breathing at about 40 to 50% oxygen. Karter weighs 2 pounds, 3 ounces/ 990 grams/ a loss of 10 grams. His feeds have increased to 4.5 c c's and his IF is at 1.7 cc's. He was started on a multivitamin today. Mason They want both boys oxygen level to come down. The doctor's and nurses say that oxygen is like a drug and the less they use, the better. ...........

During the first week in the NICU we had met another family who has been very supportive and informative about the life of NICU parents. Shay and Mike delivered their 4th daughter Ally on November 1, 2016. Shay was also 25 weeks 5 days EXACTLY like me! Ally was born weighing 1 Pound 7 ounces. She now weighs 4 pounds. Last night at the NICU as Kyle and I were walking to the pump room to clean bottles, we walked passed Ally's room. Mike and Shay waved us in. The first thing Mike said was, "We're breaking out of this place!!" Ally was being discharged after 2 1/2 long months! Shay and Mike were told she wouldn't be leaving until February, so they were ecstatic! Tears of joy dripped down all of our faces! They too have a strong faith and were so grateful for God's grace. When we were leaving the NICU, they were putting Ally in the car to go surprise her 3 sisters and meet them for the FIRST time. Thank you Lord for this miraculous miracle.

The x- Rays are more clear than the last one taken on January 9th, still hazy, no murmur. The echocardiogram shows that he still has the PDA (hole in his heart), but it is smaller. Dr. Halou said the progress is good. Mason got a new isolet today. (the nurses call it a condo. Lol) They have increased his feeds to 6 cc's south the 26 calorie fortifier. Karter now weighs 1000 grams/ 1 kilo/ 2 pounds 4 ounces. Karter is breathing at 22 to 26 percent oxygen. Mason now weighs 1.14 ounces getting 5 cc's continuously per hour and Karter weighs 1 pound 11 ounces and is now feeding getting 1 cc's every 4 hours. Neither boys were given a chance to come off the ventilators.

Today is Mommy's first day back to work. Daddy is also working. Mommy called the NICU. They said both boys had a good night. During the night Mason went back on the other mode on his ventilator. At 8 o'clock he had a big stool. He is at 32% oxygen. He's tolerating his feeds. His belly is soft. He had to quit Brady's. Karter's bilirubin went down to 5.1 so they will take him off the phototherapy light. His BUN is coming down. He had a few quick Brady's. Two small stools. Vitals are good. He is breathing on 21 - 25 percent oxygen.

Today it was just mommy and the boys, while Daddy was at work. The boys have been in the NICU for two whole weeks today. Mommy gave Mason his first sponge bath. Both Mason and Karter had kangaroo care with Mommy. Mason is on 28% oxygen. He weighs 1 pound 12 ounces. He had a big bowel movement this morning. They switched IVs from Left Hand to right hand because it was leaking. Mason has a heart murmur. They increased Mason's feeds to 4.3 milliliters. Karter weighs 1 pound 11 ounces. He is still not feeding yet, maybe tomorrow. He is breathing on 21% oxygen. He has a single phototherapy light for his bilirubin. Today is his last day for his antibiotic. His white blood count is normal. They changed the dressing on his central line last night. He has had a total of four blood transfusions. A few changes were made on his ventilator, so that he is not working as hard. Urine output is good. He is currently experiencing respiratory distress syndrome. Karter also has a murmer.

Mason is back to his birth weight 1 pound, 12 ounces. They have increased his feeds to 3.6 ml. He is on 30% oxygen. During the night, this little bugger managed to pull his PIC line out of his arm. The nurse said she's never seen a baby do that before! He now has an IV in his hand which they plan on taking out tomorrow.

Marion and Kyle, we want to Congratulate you on thr birth of your new little boys. We send love and prayers everyday to all of you. We're looking forward to the day you bring them home. May God Bless.

Mason is stable. He is on a ventilator, breathing at 21% oxygen which is room temperature. He received a blood transfusion today and is on antibiotics. He has a PIC line in his left arm and is receiving the nutrition he needs. Both boys received head ultrasounds on Tuesday, December 27. The results show their brains are normal and their is no bleeding. Yay! Mason does have a 1.4 mm cyst in his left front ventrical of the brain which they are hoping to be binine. Please keep both of our boys in your thoughts and prayers. Love always, Kyle and Marion

Karter had a Broviac Cauterization surgery last night, after finding out he has a cyst in his liver that is expanding. The surgery went well, however his abdomen was swollen when we left last night. We received a call early this morning that they switched over his ventilator to an oscillator ventilator. While at work this morning, my wife received a call from the NICU Doctor who advised her that he has fluid in the abdomen. She also asked her to report to the hospital as soon as she could and asked if we had a Chaplin or Pastor that we would like to invite to join us at the hospital. At this point, I'm thinking the worst. When I got to the hospital she informed us that he had not urinated in a 12 hour span. She put him on a diaretic in hopes that he would urinate. His kidneys and blood pressure are good. Right now it is a waiting game to see how Karter's body reacts to the treatment they are providing him.
