On the 20th this month, fifteen+ LGBT migrant youth will be arriving to Nogales to turn ourselves in at the port of entry. Our goal is that all LGBT+ migrants are released under humanitarian parole.
All of us are escaping from death threats, forced sexual labor, sexual assault, and discrimination from Central America. We were sexually assaulted and robbed in Mexico AND still denied refugee status here. We are now traveling north as a collective searching for a stable and a safe place to live.
We are needing funds for bonds food, bus fares, and lodge for our caravan to reach the border.
