Dear friends and loved ones,
Our Dad and his wife May were one of the many families who lost their home in the Tubbs fire in Santa Rosa last week. In a matter of hours, their home, their car, all their belongings and the entire Coffee Park neighborhood was gone.
While my Dad was in the hospital recovering from an emergency appendectomy, May was asleep and woke abruptly to police pounding on her door. She was told to leave immediately and was not able to get any of their belongings except for their two bunnies. As she left, she could see the house three doors down was in flames.
So much of what they lost is irreplaceable, but they can use all the help available to start putting back the pieces of their lives. Many of you have asked what you can do to help, so we set up this page to give friends and family the opportunity to help support them as they recover from this devastating loss.
It is going to be a long journey ahead for them. Thank you for your continued prayers, love and support – it’s incredibly comforting during this difficult time.
