Many of you know I took up surfing kind of recently (Sept 2018!) and it’s taken me so far on a journey of humility and heartbreak of all kinds, but also on one of deep love, friendship and self trust. It’s been a lifesaver during this long pandemic winter.
I know people have been struggling in material ways during this long hard year so I don’t mind if you think it’s bonkers to ask for presents, but for my birthday this year I felt it was time for my first 'real' board. (I myself have debated since my actual birthday two months ago whether it was even right to start this fund to begin with.)
But if you would like to support me in this insane sport I decided to take on at age 39, any amount, however small, will mean so much.
