On Tuesday, June 27th Trevor suffered a traumatic brain injury when he fell during a rock climb w/the Boy Scouts while in New Mexico. Medevac transported him to the University of New Mexico Hospital Trauma Unit. He remained at UNM Hospital in their Neurological ICU until July 20th. He was then transported via air ambulance to the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD.
He is currently an inpatient at the pediatric rehabilitation unit at KKI, and will eventually move on to outpatient rehabilitation.
Trevor is making wonderful progress but has a long road ahead of him. The Hickman's will now have to face the reality of paying the out of pocket costs for Trevor's ongoing treatment. This will be overwhelming to say the least.
Yearly expenses for a catastrophic injury, such as a traumatic brain injury, can exceed one million dollars.
Your donation to the Hickman's will help with out of pocket costs for all his medical costs, which will include ongoing types of therapy for some time.
The family appreciates your donation, and is forever grateful for all the support they have received.

Please keep Trevor in your prayers.
